




​Graduation is a momentous event in any student’s life. After years of hard work and dedicated commitment, graduation is an opportunity to celebrate the achievement of an academic award with peers, family, and friends. It is the acknowledgment of a great deal of personal sacrifice and the sacrifice and support of family and friends.

Every student who completed their studies at the end of Trimester 1, 2025, Trimester 2, 2025 and Trimester 3, 2025 and have been confirmed as eligible to graduate by the Academic Board receive an invitation to attend their 2026 Graduation Ceremony.​

Graduation Ceremony Package
The cost of your graduation ceremony package is AUD 220.00 per graduate. ​Your Graduation Package includes:

Academic dress hire (gown, stole/hood and trencher cap (hat)).

Your studio portrait session on graduation day including one high-resolution digital file.

Your on-stage presentation image as a high-resolution digital file.
-
Tickets for yourself and up to two (2) guests to attend your graduation ceremony.

A copy of the graduation booklet which lists all graduates.
-
Light refreshments for you and your guests.
You will receive an email to select your one free studio digital image and your one free presentation digital image online and Graduation Photography Services will email link/s to download your images link within 3 business days.
Graduation Registration
The ECA Graduation Ceremony Portal is used to RSVP your attendance. Students who wish to attend must provide measurements for the hire of your academic regalia and make payment for your graduation ceremony package fee. Payment must be made online by credit/debit card via the Graduation Ceremony Portal during the assigned registration period.​

​Graduate students are allocated to the Graduation Ceremony based in the state they studied. If you have moved and would like to attend at another of ECA Higher Education’s ceremony locations, please lodge an enquiry with Student Services before you register.

There are three options to RSVP via the Graduation Registration Portal:

​​Select ​​​​​YES to Attend in 2026.
Select DEFER to be invited next year (students can defer once only).
Select NO if you do not want to attend a ceremony at all.

After making payment if you do not receive a confirmation email within 5 hours, lodge an enquiry with Student Services.

Registration closes on Friday 12 June 2026.
Students who elect to defer and attend in 2027, or don’t want to attend will graduate in absentia, which means the award/qualification is conferred without being physically present at your official graduation ceremony. Students who graduate in absentia are able to collect their Testamur/Award the week following graduation from Student Services on campus.
Academic Regalia
Measurement Guide
Graduands are required to wear full academic dress/regalia at their graduation ceremony. The hire of your academic regalia is included in the Graduation Ceremony Fee. When you register you will be asked to select your measurements in centimetres (cms) from drop down listings, please ensure you provide accurate measurements to ensure your regalia fits best. Refer to the below guides.

Academic regalia must be returned before leaving the venue following the ceremony, students are liable for any damage of or loss of the hired academic regalia.

Your graduation ceremony fee includes up to two guest tickets, additional guest tickets may become available at a later time if venue capacity allows. ​Children under 5 do not require a ticket and must be always supervised.

Names and passport numbers must be accurately entered along with your relationship to the person (mother, father, brother, sister, grandparent, friend etc).

Students can download or resend guest tickets from their registration confirmation page if required. ​​

​​​​After you complete your registration and make payment, the Graduation Registration Portal will automatically send:

you confirmation of your registration/order and your graduation ticket
-
your registered guest/s their ticket directly via email
Each ticket contains a unique QR code, which will be scanned upon arrival on the day.
Invitation Letters for Offshore Guests
The Graduation Registration Portal does not automatically generate Invitation letters.
Should you request an invitation letter Student Services will generate your letter and send it as soon as possible, we thank you in advance for your patience with the manual process.
Additional Guest Tickets
If venue capacity allows for additional guests, there may be a limited release of additional guest tickets. ​Additional guest tickets are not part of your Graduation Ceremony fee and are charged at a fee of AUD 45.00 each.

Notification of the release of additional guest tickets will be advised by email.

NOTE:

You must arrive on time for Registration, Gowning and Portrait Photography.

Late arrivals WILL NOT be allowed to register and gowned after the close of registration.

Students MUST be seated for their pre-ceremony briefing at the time above.
Public transport is recommended to get your graduation venue.
