End of Year Christmas and New Year Break

APIC closes for the Christmas/New Year break from close of business on Friday 19 December 2025. Campuses re-open in the new year on Monday 5 January 2026.

 

Trimester 1, 2026 Classes Commence from Monday 9 February 2026​

Online Enrolment Remains Open

If you haven't enrolled for Trimester 1, 2026

Online enrolment for Trimester 1, 2026 will remain open over the break. If you haven't enrolled, please enrol online via your Student Portal. 

Attention New GradCertBus and MBA Students! ​

Enrolment for APIC's new Graduate Certificate in Business (GradCertBus) and Master of Business Management (MBA) students will open in January 2026 following a system upgrade. We thank you for your patience while we improve your student management system. Keep an eye on your inbox in the new year, Student Services will send you all the information you need at the time GradCertBus and MBA enrolment opens.

Orientation for New Students

​O-Week for New Students is the Week Beginning 2 February 2026

During Orientation Week (O-Week) each campus has its own dedicated on-campus Orientation Day. Click on the below button to see dates for each campus on the Orientation page of APIC's Student Hub.

Trimester 3, 2025 Completing Students

Results for Trimester 3, 2025 are scheduled to be released by 30 January 2026. Student Services will begin creating completion documents after results have been approved by the Board of Examiners and course completion approval has been received. Completion documentation will be prioritised in order of visa expiry dates. Completion documentation cannot be issued to graduands who have outstanding fees, library items on loan or have not applied for or recorded their Unique Student Identifier in their Student Portal.

 

Completing students DO NOT need to lodge requests for completion documents.

Trimester 1, 2026 Break Eligibility 

Continuing Students Only

Refer to your initial Trimester Break Eligibility email which provides an indication of your eligibility to take a break next trimester. Confirmation of your Eligibility to take a Trimester Break will be confirmed following the release of results. â€‹Mid Trimester 3, 2025 students are not eligible for a Trimester Break during Trimester 1, 2026 as they have just started their course.

Wellbeing and Safety

Holiday periods can be rough for some people, we see an increase in the number of scams and the risk of drink spiking may increase with end of year parties and gatherings, and sadly lives are lost in instances of drownings.

If you experience any struggles, please know that Converge International Services are available during the holiday period. â€‹Scams! Never click on links from unknown sources AND if an offer from an unknown source is too good to be true don't even think twice about it!

Important: Beach and Water Safety!

Australia’s beaches are a great place to keep cool on a hot day, however the strong currents of water that flow away from the shore line (these are called rip currents or rips) present danger. Only swim at beaches that have Life Guards on duty and always between the RED and YELLOW flags. â€‹The Beach Safe App can assist you to locate the nearest patrolled beach that have Life Guards on duty. Beach Safety Reminders:

Only swim at a beach that is patrolled by Life Guards

Before you step onto the beach read the Safety signs, this will inform you of any warnings or dangers at the beach. 

Only swim between the RED and YELLOW flags
Always follow the instructions of the Life Guards on duty
Never swim at night
Don’t dive into the water, the water may be shallow and you could be hurt
Don’t go swimming alone, go with a friend so that you can look after each other
Tell someone where you are going and what time you expect to return
